The UNSW Division of Societal Impact, Equity and Engagement (DSIEE) leads UNSW’s efforts to make a positive and lasting impact on society, promoting equity and social justice, and driving engagement activities which enhance UNSW’s reputation as a key contributor to society through its research, teaching, and community engagement. The Database Assistant role encompasses all aspects of database entry, raw data reporting and documentation, and is responsible for providing assistance and support to the Division of External Engagement through the use of the database management CRM. The Database Assistant will report to the Business Intelligence Manager and has no reports.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Business Intelligence Manager to ensure all information contained in the Division of External Engagement CRM database is accurate, consistent and up to date.
- Provide high levels of customer service and support to Division of External Engagement staff and to CRM users by providing queries, exports and reports.
- Support all end users using the database team's support ticketing system.
- Create and maintain up to date documentation for internal teams use and how to guides and manuals.
- Provide assistance with data entry for a variety of projects and tasks.
- Actively contribute to the ongoing improvement of the Division’s systems and processes
- Work effectively individually or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Solve problems by applying knowledge and understanding of a range of procedures and policies
Skills and Experience:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience working with Blackbaud Raisers Edge or similar CRM databases.
- Experience with Python and SQL will be advantageous
- Excellent written and verbal skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Experience working in a support services team.
- Accurate and efficient data entry skills and experience.
