Facilities Coordinator, SWS Campus

  • Employment Type: Part - time (28 hours a week)
  • Duration: Continuing
  • Remuneration: $85k - $96k base prorated (+ 17% Super, leave loading)
  • Location: Liverpool hospital, Sydney

Why this role matters 

This role will provide effective day-to-day logistical support for clinical skills and simulation teaching within UNSW Medicine & Health. The role reports to the Clinical Campus Manager, Southwest Sydney Clinical Campuses supporting Education Focussed academic staff in the UNSW Clinical Skills and Simulation Centre at Liverpool.

Some key skills required: 

  • Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training and experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and productively within a team, but also to take initiative and work independently while managing competing demands.
  • Demonstrated experience providing effective customer service and support to clients at all levels.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced time management, organisational and problem-solving skills, including the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience working in a health care environment and knowledge of medical equipment and consumables.
  • Highly proficient computer literacy with excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications and a willingness to learn basic operations of simulation training equipment.
