- Remuneration: Level 7 $110,073 - $119,132 (depending on experience) + 17% super + leave loading

Why your Role Matters:
The Events & Communications Coordinator delivers high-quality communications and events, with a strong focus on digital content and strategy. Reporting to the External Engagement Manager, this role collaborates with stakeholders across Faculties and Divisions to ensure seamless delivery and continuous improvement, aligning with university objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Prioritise impactful communications, including developing and implementing plans with clear, targeted messaging.
- Lead a website refresh project, including writing, editing, and managing content, ensuring alignment with digital best practices.
- Plan, design, and deliver events, managing all stages of the event lifecycle.
- Provide strategic advice on communication strategies, digital content, and platform use.
- Track event and communication success, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement shared policies and approaches to align with divisional goals.
- Manage communications projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to address emerging issues and deliver consistent messaging.
This role requires expertise in digital communications, website management, and content creation, alongside event delivery. Close coordination with various teams ensures alignment with the University’s engagement and communication objectives.
About You:
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience, with 5+ years in a similar role.
- Expertise in communications, writing, editing, and event management.
- Proven experience delivering live and digital events, managing stakeholders, and achieving outcomes in complex organisations.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and evaluate events and communications effectively.
- High-level communication skills, including writing and editing for diverse audiences.
- Self-motivated, able to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement, time management, and meeting competing deadlines.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
