We are currently seeking a Program Officer to support the development of communications and digital resources for our Gateway Admission Pathway and Program in Student Equity and other key strategic communications.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day communications, project documentation, and administrative support across a range of projects. You will play a key role in delivering digital engagement resources and content, while also assisting in the coordination of stakeholder activities and ensuring project deliverables are met.

This position reports to the Manager, Digital Engagement and does not have any direct reports.

 

Specific accountabilities for this role include:  

  • Support the development of digital engagement resources by drafting initial written content, coordinating the production of collateral and assets and ensuring timely delivery in line with project timelines, branding and accessibility standards.
  • Maintain and regularly review existing digital engagement resources, identifying materials that require updates and implementing or coordinating necessary changes to ensure accuracy, relevance and quality.
  • Work closely with external stakeholders and contractors to support the delivery of high-quality resources, ensuring clear, consistent communication and alignment with project objectives.

About You:  

  • Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant project experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training, and experience. • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to respond to changing priorities, manage multiple tasks according to strict deadlines and meet desired outcomes by using judgement and initiative.
  • Proven project experience with demonstrated success in supporting projects.
  • Sound stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team, taking initiative and a proactive approach to driving process improvement.
  • A full and unencumbered driver’s licence and the ability to work outside of normal working hours and work at locations across Sydney and NSW.
  • An understanding of and commitment to UNSW’s aims, objectives and values in action, together with relevant policies and guidelines.

This role requires the successful candidate to hold a Working with Children's Check.
