Who Your Role Matters:
The role of Developer – Microsoft Power Platform is focussed on developing and supporting a range digital apps and solutions, using the Microsoft Power Platform, PowerBI and Office365 suite to automate various manual / paper-based HR processes. The role would work alongside an existing ‘citizen developers’ in HR who are building a suite of digital HR products to improve the customer experience for our staff while streamlining inefficient back-end processes.
This role reports to the Head of HR Strategy and Transformation and has no direct reports.
You Will Have:
- A relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent level of knowledge gained through any combination of education, training and/or experience.
- Extensive relevant professional experience in creating digital solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform and Power BI
- Strong experience or exposure in agile ways of working.
- Ability to problem solve while thinking of sustainable solutions that can be repurposed or reused
- Advanced digital skills in the Microsoft Power Platform and Office 365 suite, with the ability to advise on best practice use of applications.
- Analytical and planning skills, with an ability to develop and maintain work plans and develop reporting and metrics to understand program effectiveness.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, partners and stakeholders both internal and external.
- Strong time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to respond to changing priorities, and meet competing deadlines by using judgement and initiative.
- Effective negotiation skills, as well as a strong customer service and dispute resolution skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively across multi-function teams.
- An understanding of and commitment to UNSW’s aims, objectives and values in action, together with relevant policies and guidelines.
