Why Your Role Matters:
We are seeking an Administrative Officer to provide high-level support to the People and Culture team. Reporting to the Executive Officer, P&C, this role will handle a variety of administrative tasks, including managing shared mailboxes, scheduling meetings, processing invoices, coordinating on-boarding activities, and maintaining records.
The role requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, efficient handling of travel and event arrangements, and maintaining accurate databases and communications.
The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to refining administrative processes to support P&C operations effectively.
Skills and Experience:
- Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent experience in an administrative position or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through other education, training and/or experience
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to negotiate and liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service and a positive, flexible and adaptable attitude with a willingness to take on a wide range of tasks and adjust to competing and shifting priorities in a changing environment.
- High level proficiency in a range of computing skills including Microsoft Office suite particularly word processing and database, applications, emails, social media applications and websites.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and implement new systems.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills and demonstrated ability to prioritise workload and meet strict deadlines while working in a fast-paced environment with variable workflow patterns.
- Proven ability to apply knowledge and experience to analyse and resolve complex and sensitive issues effectively and develop practical recommendations and solutions.
