The RGC team is recruiting for a Contracts Officer to manage the review and negotiation of research agreements as well as resolving complex contract matters.

About Research Grants and Contracts (RGC)
RGC plays a crucial role in UNSW’s research performance, and supports UNSW researchers in the development, preparation and submission of research grant applications. The RGC oversees negotiation and administration of research awards, contracts and consulting research. The RGC is the key link between UNSW’s researchers, executive and funding agencies such as the NHMRC, ARC, philanthropic grant funders and industry partners. The RGC teams are a crucial component in the university’s ongoing strategy to increase knowledge exchange and towards meeting the S25 aims.
Your Role:
As Contracts Officer you will work with researchers and support staff from across the university in the contract negotiation process. Including drafting, reviewing, negotiating and executing agreements.

- Deliver high-quality customer services in competitive grant and tender applications.
- Cultivate and navigate relationships across the University.
- Develop your understanding of Australian higher education and international research funding landscapes.
- Work under pressure in a high-volume grant environment.
