Why your role matters
The Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM) at UNSW Business School administers and delivers a significant in-person and online program supporting postgraduate, postexperience education. A Student Success Coordinator provides sophisticated, proactive, and accurate administrative program and event management. They are responsible for coordinating and delivering a high-quality, high-volume service to students in all our programs.
About the Role
You will be required to undertake and have experience in the following areas of expertise:
- Manage the successful coordination of a broad range of activities and tasks including complex case enquiries, complaints, delivery and administration to deliver high-level support to our students and stakeholders.
- Plan, develop and maintain administrative guidelines and processes, providing expert advice in relation to programs, courses, student activities, events and workflows.
- Set effective priorities and monitor workflows daily to ensure high performance outcomes.
- Ensure event planning and delivery is performed to a high degree of excellence.
- Apply a consistent and professional approach to managing student cases and maintaining appropriate and accurate records on student communications and interactions.
- Consistently foster a culture of trust and accountability.
- Apply effective skills and knowledge to program enquiries, administration requests, travel procedures, catering orders and event bookings, cost tracking, and responsible UNSW budget and credit card usage
About You
- Tertiary degree in a related area, and/or relevant experience in digital search analytics in a commercial setting. Digital marketing / SEO certifications are highly desirable.
- Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training, and experience.
- Demonstrated excellent time management and organisational skills, and the ability to work well under pressure, managing multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment resolving complex issues and providing sophisticated advice to colleagues, stakeholders and students in a time-effective manner.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to use tact, patience and understanding to communicate with influence and professionalism with AGSM students, colleagues and stakeholders on a variety of complex issues.
- Demonstrated ability to manage events with multiple stakeholders, coupled with a proven track record in planning, coordinating, and executing successful events.
- Demonstrated experience providing excellent customer service and support to colleagues, stakeholders and students at all levels
