Why Your Role Matters:
This an exciting opportunity to move into a project role supporting the DSIEE with the planning, development and implementation of key projects across the division.

As Project Manager you will oversee project team progress and work to support the division's key priorities, your day to day will include:

  • Collaborating with the Director of Operations to oversee the successful delivery of SIEE projects and initiatives.
  • Managing day-to-day project activities, including development, delivery and evaluation.
  • Overseeing effective communications with key stakeholders, both internal and external to the project.
  • Identifying and managing project documents, governance and dependencies as well as managing risks, issues, change requests, and financial aspects.

The role reports to Director Operations and will have one direct report to support the delivery of projects.

Who You Are: We're looking for a UNSW professional ready to step into their next project role.
You will hold the following skills and experience:

  • Proven project management experience, with an in-depth understanding of the project life cycle and strategic development of project plans, objectives and documentation
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail for deliverables produced.
  • Demonstrated success working effectively and collaboratively on initiatives with a range of people at different levels within an organisation.
  • Knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to respond to changing priorities, manage multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines by using judgement and initiative.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and productively within a team, but also to take initiative and work independently while managing competing demands.
