  • Remuneration: Level 7 $110,073 - $119,132 (depending on experience) + 17% super + leave loading

Why Your Role Matters:

The UNSW Division of Societal Impact, Equity, and Engagement (DSIEE) drives initiatives that promote equity, social justice, and societal impact. As part of the Strategic Events department, the Producer delivers high-quality events for both internal University programs and UNSW’s Centre for Ideas, a leading thought-leadership platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate within the Event Programs team to deliver cohesive, impactful events.
  • Manage event logistics, including budgets, venues, talent, and ticketing, in partnership with the Senior Manager.
  • Oversee on-ground event delivery, including stage management and front-of-house management.
  • Supervise volunteers, contractors, and casual staff as needed.
  • Develop systems to ensure consistent, high-quality event execution.
  • Liaise with marketing and design teams to produce event collateral.
  • Maintain networks to stay updated on best practices and trends.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver outstanding events.

This role reports to the Senior Manager, Event Programs, with a focus on impactful events that uphold UNSW’s mission.

About You:

You are an experienced producer with a background in events, tertiary education, media, or the arts. Skilled in end-to-end event management, including production, ticketing, and talent coordination, you excel in fast-paced, complex environments. A strong collaborator with excellent interpersonal skills, you build effective relationships and manage budgets and deadlines with precision. Your expertise in marketing, communications, and digital engagement ensures impactful and high-quality events.
