The Health Promotions Senior Project Officer will form an integral part of the Pro Vice-Chancellor Education & Student Experience, Wellbeing Pillar, Health Promotion team in the delivery of Mental Health focussed programs aligned with UNSW’s Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy.
This involves developing, delivering and evaluating evidence-informed health programs that are culturally sensitive and align to the overall UNSW Health Service strategy. In particular the role will focus on the UNSW International Student cohort, and support students and their peers to make informed and healthy choices. Adopting a health promotions approach, this role will work collaboratively, using co-design principles to make the university a healthier place. In support of the delivery of initiatives and programs, this role will recruit, manage and oversee student volunteers and peer groups.
This role will report to the Health Promotions Team Lead. This a replacement position, fixed-term contract until the end of December 2025 (no possibility of extension at this point).

Liaise closely with key internal stakeholders, including relevant portfolio staff, UNSW Student Communications and Arc as well as external stakeholders to provide an integrated approach to health promotions and prevention activities
