Why Your Role Matters: 
Oversee the delivery of UNSW Quality and Compliance projects, developing and implementing projects and initiatives which drive adherence to relevant legislation and policy, considering the end user and driving a culture of compliance first.  

You will play an important role in managing the delivery of project initiatives, developing project planning documentation, identifying and building appropriate project teams and initiating and overseeing the project, including managing all stakeholder engagement and quality assurance, and ensuring alignment to strategic priorities that enable P&C compliance efforts to readily integrate into current processes and systems. 

Sitting in the People & Culture (P&C) function, this role reports into the Head of P&C Quality and Compliance to monitor and support the progress of projects to ensure consistent quality assurance aligning to UNSW's governance pathways and seamless delivery against the program timeline and objectives 

Who You Are: We're looking for a Project Manager proficient in end-to-end management of HR compliance projects, who thrives on problem-solving and holds strong stakeholder management skills to further the project's objectives of ensuring compliance and optimisation, alongside the following skills and experience: 

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or in a similar role, including knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures. 
  • Excellent consultation, influencing and negotiation skills and proven ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes. 
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills and proven capacity to exercise initiative, flexibility and to be proactive in development of robust solutions to problems. 
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail for deliverables produced. 
  • Demonstrated success working effectively and collaboratively on initiatives with a range of people at different levels within an organisation. 
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to make decisions in complex situations
