Why Your Role Matters 

The Student Web Content Producer provides critical project input and support to the Current Students Web (CSW) Migration Project Team within the Division of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Education & Student Experience (DVCESE) throughout the duration of the Drupal to AEM Migration period.  

The Student Web Content Producer will report to the Senior Content Specialist Manager, Student Communications and has no direct reports, however will have supervising responsibilities for a number of casual student interns in various stages of the project. 

Main responsibilities Summary 

• Oversee and support the duties of  student casual interns - planning, assigning and reviewing tasks, and assisting in day-to-day duties 

• Undertake content audits of CSW pages, in priority order determining pages to create, merge or delete in new AEM instance 

• Migrate CS in-use assets to the Adobe Digital Asset Management (DAM) system 

• Design low fidelity experience designs and content creation within AEM and Figma - in collaboration with Future Students and SME's across the division, incorporating student feedback throughout the process 

• Undertake user-testing of web content and relevant research gathering directly with students for feedback and trends 

• Implement UX best practice - including SEO research, optimising rankings of CSW in search  

• Produce and publish content in AEM as relevant to the project phases and timeline including content documentation and copywriting 

• Support the gathering of insights on student engagement with communications and student services, with a key focus to uplift the digital student experience 

• Provide relevant insights, analysis and reporting as required on existing content in Drupal and postlaunch in AEM utilising Adobe Analytics. Content Square and other systemsidentifying optimisation opportunities 

• Build and maintain effective working relationships with all relevant stakeholders and faculties throughout the project to align deliverables 

Who You Are 

We are looking for someone who has great communication and interpersonal skills, who is aligned with UNSW’s vision and values and comes with: 

• Previous demonstrated experience in the development and delivery of digital communications, web user experience and content 

• Demonstrated experience with Adobe Experience Manager and Adobe Analytics, as well as an understanding of UX best practices 

• Demonstrated experience working on digital transformation projects 

• Demonstrated experience in project management and excellent organisational and time management skills 

• Excellent consultation, influencing and negotiation skills and proven ability to engage effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders 

• Since this role supervises interns, previous supervising experience coaching and managing others would be beneficial 

• Excellent initiative and proactive approach to identifying solutions and opportunities for improvement and optimisation 

Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, business hours. The role will begin in July 2025 and go until July 2026.
