  • Location: Kensington, NSW (The successful candidate will work on campus minimum three days a week)

Accountabilities:

  • Provide support for the blended delivery of a broad range of student facing activities, events and initiatives including Orientation events, information sessions, competitions and small- and large-scale events.
  • Assist with the planning, delivery and administration of student activities, in partnership with CASE Operations, Program and Engagement teams and other internal stakeholders.
  • Delivery of online events and activities across a range of platforms including Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance at activities, events and initiatives.
    Provide support with the coordination of UNSW Business School merchandise for use at events, including processing of orders, tracking inventory and administering the online merchandise platform.
  • Develop, foster and maintain effective working relationships within the Education Portfolio and relevant staff in the Faculty, divisions and other internal stakeholders.

Skills and Experience:

To be considered you will hold Australian Working Rights or Australian Citizenship. Visa sponsorship is not available for this appointment.

  • Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in the planning, coordination and delivery of events.
  • Advanced time management, organisational and problem-solving skills, including the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly proficient computer literacy with excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to make sound judgements and work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting and contributing to projects and initiatives.
  • An understanding of and commitment to UNSW’s aims, objectives and values in action, together with relevant policies and guidelines.
