Why Your Role Matters:
As a Project Officer within the Faculty and Divisions Engagement Team, you will support the implementation and adoption of compliance activities identified by Program Phoenix across areas of time and attendance and pay confidence. This role will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure readiness for new business and compliance processes by providing a high level of proactive professional support that facilitates the seamless adaption of crucial compliance activities into business-as-usual operations.
Reporting into the team Engagement Lead, you will work to ensure business readiness of stakeholders by participating in planning processes to develop, train on and monitor the delivery of initiatives that uphold best practice across pay confidence processes at UNSW. Your day to day includes:
- Review and undertake readiness activities, training and adaption of initiatives.
- Develop and monitor delivery of initiatives to achieve program goals.
- Provide a high level of proactive business readiness support to project team
- Develop and manage effective communications with key stakeholders
- Coordinate adherence to UNSW governance pathways.
- Support the creation and delivery of training, communications and engagement materials
Who You Are: Holding an understanding of contingent workforce interactions within faculties/divisions in higher education, you’ll be confident in engaging with internal stakeholder to support the progress of the program aims across contingent workforce engagement, alongside the following skills and experience:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail for deliverables produced.
- Demonstrated success working effectively and collaboratively on initiatives with a range of people at different levels within an organisation.
- Experience working with a range of computer systems and applications, including UNSW existing systems and processes.
- Excellent time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to respond to changing priorities, manage multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines by using judgement and initiative.
- Proven project experience, with an understanding of the project life cycle and development of project plans, objectives and documentation and/or proven experience within Faculty or Divisions and understanding of UNSW processes and complexities.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and productively within a team, but also to take initiative and work independently while managing competing demands
