The School of Humanities and Social Sciences at UNSW Canberra have an internationally recognised team of academics. Our research is internationally recognised and explores complex global issues, including issues directly relevant to defence and Australia’s national security.
The School of Humanities and Social Sciences is seeking a scholar expert in the international dimensions of cybersecurity taking in the geopolitics, ethics, law or governance of cyber policy and practice. Associated knowledge of information and influence operations would also be desirable.
As a member of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, you will conduct high quality research and make a significant contribution to the teaching activities of the School and will be involved in advancing the School’s international profile by conducting scholarly research, contributing to the supervision of research students, and undertake a range of teaching duties.
About the Role:
Role: Lecturer / Senior Lecturer / Associate Professor in Cyber Security
Salary: Academic Level B - $ 110,459 – $130,215 + 17% Superannuation
Academic Level C - $ 134,162 – $153,921 + 17% Superannuation
Academic Level D - $ 160,506 - $176,305 + 17% Superannuation
Term: Fixed Term appointment up to 5 years
Position: 1 position available between the levels of B – D.
About the Successful Applicants
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have experience conducting classes, assessing student learning achievements, and support students in both postgraduate and undergraduate courses.
- Be able to design and develop learning activities and resources and provide assessment and feedback at both course and program level using a range of suitable approaches and learning environments.
- Have contributed to the review, development and/or design of curriculum and management of curriculum administration.
