About the role

• 2 year Fixed term contract
• up to 149base + 17% Super + Leave loading 

The Solution Architect will oversee the design and communication of high-level structures to enable and guide the design and development of integrated solutions that meet the needs of the business.

The role will also provide high level advice and recommendations to the business in shaping solutions, based on their specialist expertise and experience. The Solution Architect reports to the Lead Solution Architect in the Sub Domain Model.

Skills Required:

• Relevant tertiary qualification as well as significant professional experience in systems design and implementation, including at least three years’ in Solution Architecture role.
• An understanding of Cloud (SaaS, PaaS and IaaS), and on-site deployment and integration architectures (API, messaging, iPaaS)
• Demonstrated application of solution architecture into Agile projects and modern practices such as DevOps.
• Ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations and to propose and estimate the financial impact of architecture alternatives
• Extensive knowledge of the Architecture Frameworks - TOGAF

• Experience in creation of business cases, business and technical requirements, conceptual, logical, physical and technical design, roadmaps and ongoing management for all aspects of end enterprise and modern workspace technologies.
• Able to contribute in a number of areas outside of specialty (e.g. enterprise architecture, application portfolio reviews, solution option development, product selection and architecture assessments)
• Ability to map business needs to technology solutions
